The Chiropractors’ Association of Saskatchewan (CAS) serves the best interests of the public by regulating and advancing excellence in chiropractic care.
The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Executive Director, Registrar and Board of Directors. The Executive Assistant:
- Manages day to day operational aspects of the CAS office including receiving and directing inquiries from members and third parties, maintaining office files, preparing documents and communications, coordinating events and meetings, and maintaining the membership database and CAS website
- Provides support to the Board of Directors in meeting preparation, coordination, recording of minutes and associated documents
- Manages accounting transactions including accounts receivables and payables using accounting software, with support from a contract Accountant
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with chiropractors, CAS staff and the CAS Board, as well as external organizations
Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, highly organized, has strong computer and time management skills, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to handle situations in a professional manner respecting confidentiality. This person can work independently while also being a collaborative team player who builds and maintains professional relationships. Our ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar administrative role along with post-secondary training in business/office administration. Education in accounting or bookkeeping is considered an asset.
